With Easter coming I've started to make a range of egg cards. The holographic and foam stickers are fun, while gingham ribbons give a fresh spring time feel.
Copper is a new material I'm experimenting with for card making. When heated it changes from pink to sunset shades. The deep orange with purple hints is gorgeous. Here punched squares of copper have been decorated with red wire and glassbeads.
Beautiful effects can be achieved by dry embossing as the margin on this mini card shows. The tiny butterflies have been punched from scraps of copper and even the negatives have been used.
Yellow sparkly card, water print paper and a selection of holiday buttons create an idyllic scene. Strong glue and stout card is needed due to the weight of the buttons.
A leaf punch was used to create a stencil to print the background in autumn colours. Bronze foil backs leaf-shaped apertures in pearlescent green card and the whole design is finished with a toning tag decorated with bronze peel off stickers.
