Super Stamps

I was given lots of super stamps for Christmas. Here are some of the cards I've made using them. The background on the celebrate card was produced using a peel off sticker and sponging with bright coloured ink.

All these motifs were embossed after stamping. Holographic embossing powders give a subtle sparkle while shiny black looks elegant on the Rennie Mackintosh inspired card. Water colour pencils enhance details.

Easter Eggs

With Easter coming I've started to make a range of egg cards. The holographic and foam stickers are fun, while gingham ribbons give a fresh spring time feel.

Copper

Copper is a new material I'm experimenting with for card making. When heated it changes from pink to sunset shades. The deep orange with purple hints is gorgeous. Here punched squares of copper have been decorated with red wire and glassbeads.

Beautiful effects can be achieved by dry embossing as the margin on this mini card shows. The tiny butterflies have been punched from scraps of copper and even the negatives have been used.

Wish you were here?

Yellow sparkly card, water print paper and a selection of holiday buttons create an idyllic scene. Strong glue and stout card is needed due to the weight of the buttons.

Summer Holiday

Holiday themed buttons and sparkly yellow card were used to create the toppers. More yellow card and purple ribbon co-ordinate the card and envelope.

Purple Flowers

Another card made by stenciling the background using a simple punched mask. This card was made for a sick friend.

New Home

A paint sample card provides the starting point for this card. Punched shapes and a key tag continue the theme.

Thank you flowers

Watercolour pencils add interest to simple peel-off stickers. Ribbons and sequins in complementary shades complete the design.

Autumn leaves

A leaf punch was used to create a stencil to print the background in autumn colours. Bronze foil backs leaf-shaped apertures in pearlescent green card and the whole design is finished with a toning tag decorated with bronze peel off stickers.

Wedding Collection

A whole range of custom made stationery for a family wedding. The theme colours of the day were blue, gold and cream.

Invitations - These were the first thing we came up with a design for and then we worked on this theme for the rest of the range.

Reply Cards - These were basically smaller versions of the invitations. The blue motifs are stamped in gold powder and then heated (so the powder melts) to give an embossed look.

Order of Service - The tassels really finish this piece off.

Menus - We made two of these per table. This design is very stable and just invites guests to look inside.

Place Cards - Individual place cards were also made, with gold calligraphy writing. There were eight different motifs we used and so we made sure that each person (on tables of 8) had their own motif.

Thank you Cards - These were the same size as the reply cards with a simple block of four motifs in the centre.

Box-gift - This is a special box, made on the same theme as the wedding stationery as a gift for the couple.
